James still loves to get out in the mountains and enjoy an adventure and is reliving his youth through his children who are both active members of the club.

James and his family have been coming to Mt Hotham since the late 1970s as members of the Asgaard Ski Lodge. He was first introduced to MHRS through a mad 5’2 French mogul skier called Freddie Ratel on a Blue Ribbon chairlift ride. He then had the opportunity to train under David Spiers in the early 1990s at the club
