Craig retired from Ski Shows and had a successful 14-year water ski racing career winning numerous Victorian, New South Wales, South Australian and five-time National champions across the various engine and marathon age groups. He also skied the highly Prestigious Catalina Ski Race in America, a 60 Nautical mile race from Long Beach Harbor to Catalina Island and return on six occasions, placing no less than 5 times across various ages and engine classes.
With a young family, Craig saw the similarities between snow sports and water skiing as a family-based sport, combining a skill set that would enable the whole family to be as one and has watched his children progress from as young as three and four when they first put skis on to their early teen years now in the race squad. The Club provides a clear pathway, a safe environment and a holistic approach to their training to enable them to have great life experiences and opportunities that will establish lifelong friendships and memories.
